We suggest that when contacting a therapist for treatment, you ask about the type(s) of service the therapist will provide (psychotherapy, diet management, family therapy, group therapy, etc.). In addition, you should investigate the cost of services, whether you can use health insurance to defray the cost, and the therapist's previous experience and success with eating disordered individuals.

Referrals can be made 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The Eating Disorders Service is multi-dimensional in approach. This program offers a full range of treatment services for men and women with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa or Binge Eating Disorder, including nutritional counseling and specialized individual, group and family psychotherapy. Treatment services for individuals with eating disorders include inpatient hospitalization, partial hospital program and an intensive outpatient program. Treatment approaches include: nutritional rehabilitation, symptom management through positive behavioral intervention, body imaging, insight-oriented psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups. Support groups, family therapy and community referrals are services available to meet the needs of family members/significant others. A group meal allows for post-meal processing. Highly experienced staff is available to provide structure and support throughout this process.
